Tour through the lost part of Resita

 

Who says you can't be a tourist AND stay in your home town at the same time? Also, bonus points for visiting objectives that don't exist anymore.

Let me explain: part of the old town Resita was razed to build some big boy industry back in the '70s so there's not really a lot to visit. However there are still some landmarks and we have period pictures. So the lovely people at Muzeul Cineastului Amator put together a tour of what once was. They also encouraged the oldtimers that participated to contribute their memories of those places to the common knowledge.  

What a nice way to spend and afternoon.
