Party on Furnace Street

I've never seen Furnace Street so full of life! I almost didn't go due to a really bad migraine but curiosity was stronger than it. And I'm so glad I did. When they saiad the events are taking place in the steet I wasn't expecting this. I don't know what I was expecting, maybe a few people and stands. But this felt like a big party. For context, this street is usually dead. It's been somewhat more lively since they turned the ruin of the Pittner School into a community center but I've never seen it with so many people on it. There were kids playing badminton, guitar plaeyers, chess tournaments and, my favourite, the community dinner. I didn't eat anything but that table pulled everything together. It didn't feel like just a bunch of stands and people visiting but more of a place of gathering.

I also finally got to visit the renovated Pittner School. I've been in the yard since they renovated it but never went in. I've been inside of it before, when it was just a ruin, during a Museum Night event. What a difference! I didn't take any pictures but I don want to go there one of these days and recreated the pictures I took of the ruins.

I'm framing this, I love it so much.
